Again, the action choreography is inarguably better, as always, even if the animation was simpler this time. That one Naruto x Hinata moment vastly outshines pretty much every Ichigo x Inoue moment COMBINED in terms of setup, mutual involvement, and deeper meanings behind their actions. It was 2 seconds of like a 40 minute fight, guys.u can make a better arguement lol. People are mostly talking about one 2 second shot where Pain starts going all out. NvP certainly had worse sakuga in it, but not all of it was bad (and if u have a sense of humor, even the bad was good lol). It can be summed up as Ichigo thinks he can win, predictable powerup, nope he cant, unecessary second bullshit powerup, dies, transforms, stomps. This is another generic fight made slightly better by the wierd choice to overanimate such a simple exchange.

Which if u haven't noticed.this was already done in the same arc. Only Ichigo's was set up, n it was literally a one time thing for the sake of, narratively, allowing Ichigo to get stabbed and not die like the edgelord he is. And in true Bleach fashion, it was mostly just simple melee hits and almost random powerups. They used their sakuga (highly detailed animation segments) on wierd things that were only given a panel of attention in the manga, altering the pacing a bit for no constructive purpose. UvI had a couple decent (camera) shots but felt kinda empty, both in part to the recycled emotional driving forces and the once again bland arena (and movesets.Ichigo's moveset is boring, as is Ulqs). Why are you comparing middle quality fights relative to a low quality anime to mid quality fights relative to a mid quality anime? Like.really? "Both were good" lol wat?
