My GF has been trying to get her Dragon Age II world state into DA:I through this "keep" crap for like six hours. Just set up the Keep with the account you'll be playing inquisition on.ĭude this shit is a nightmare. TL DR: DON'T ask EA to merge your accounts. I just wanted to make sure you don't try to get them merged, because you won't like the results. The keep can easily be done manually (and it's probably a good refresher course so you can see the effects of your decisions). Luckily, as /u/crimsonedge7 says above, you don't actually have to use the same account for the two games. I just spent the last week trying to get them merged into one, only to finally be told that if you merge two separate accounts, the merge process will delete EVERYTHING except which games you own (all DLC, all achievements, all multiplayer records, any progress that isn't saved to your hard drive) from your accounts. I actually do have two accounts (I'd forgotten I set up a BSN account when I set up my Origin account). When my 360 died (RRoD), I moved to PC for gaming (#neverlookback) and set up Origin (what the heck, EA, why make this so confusing?) with a new email I'd just created to make more professional resumes. I'm in a similar boat - when I bought DA:Origins and DA2, I was using an old email account.
